Nathan has been with The Grounds since he was two and a half for almost a year now. He joined the program as he was not coping well in a mainstream pre-school, having issues with following instructions and being in his own world. From a boy who was not able to sit still and unable to verbalise much, he is now able to hold a simple conversation and focus on his tasks at hand. He is also now able to demonstrate social skills such as showing care and concern for others including his peers. This is really thanks to the support and efforts of Jing Ke and the great team at The Grounds! The team has also been very accommodating to Nathan’s needs and interests, supporting him in his love of numbers, reading and physical activities. The team has also provided pointers and advice on how to engage Nathan and reinforce key learnings to improve his progress at home, providing a good home and school partnership. Nathan loves going to The Grounds, playing with his friends and learning from the teachers. The facilities in The Grounds are clean, modern and spacious, with a well equipped indoor playground for the children. This prepares him well for moving to a larger classroom setting when he is ready. Jing Ke is also very proactive in providing updates and photos on Nathan’s progress. We definitely would recommend The Grounds!

p>We would like to say a big thank you to Jing Ke. She has taught S for the past 1 year 4 months. At the start S mainly spoke in one word with missing or unclear pronunciations. With Jing Ke’s help, she can now pronounce words such as s, f, n clearly and expand her verbal skills to longer sentences. She has also gained more confidence in expressing her opinions and asking questions.
Jing Ke has shown genuine concern and interest in S’s education and well-being. She was willing to share with us her frank opinions which we really appreciated, and this has helped us in choosing a suitable educational option for our daughter. We would like to wish her all the best in her future endeavours.

I feel reassured being with Jing Ke and The Grounds Therapy because of the great improvement I’ve seen with my son within two months! Weekly speech therapy sessions with Jing Ke has helped not only my son, but also my husband and I. She has shown us how to focus on my son’s interest to expand his play, which gave us many opportunities to model for him to express himself and to communicate with us.
Thank you!!❤️

We were so fortunate and glad to have Jing Ke as our DD’s speech therapist. She was so effective that after just 6 months, our DD who had a speech delay is able to talk like every other kid her age now. At 18 months, DD hadn’t started calling us “mama” and “papa” yet, was hardly babbling, wasn’t responding to her name, had poor eye contact, and wasn’t pointing to objects with her finger. Our PD said she was behind on her developmental milestones, which could be early signs of ASD and suggested we get her checked out. We decided to seek help from a few speech therapists. Among them Jing Ke was the only one who stood out and was engaging enough that our DD took an immediately liking to her. After just the first session, we could already see an improvement in her, so we decided to stick with Jing Ke. It was the best decision ever.
Jing Ke also constantly shared tips and exercises with us to practice at home with DD. As parents, we were very encouraged by the improvements we saw in her week after week. Within a short span of 6 months, DD had caught up on her speech development, and was more or less on track with any typical 24-month old kid we’ve seen.
If your child has similar speech issues and you are looking for a speech therapist, I believe you won’t go wrong with Jing Ke.

Teacher Jingke has worked miracles on our 7 year old boy Seth who was found to have lisping during the initial diagnosis. During the subsequent 3 therapy session, Jingke has worked well with Seth to correct his lisping. She is able to capture his attention throughout the session and made the therapy fun and engaging.
In less than 3 sessions, Seth’s lisping is completely corrected and is pronouncing very well now. Truly a professional therapist we would recommend.

More than once, we have had acquaintances remarked that they could not really make out what our 3y/o daughter was talking about and we would brush that off as just being a temporary phase for our child. However, when a close relative also commented on her unintelligible speech, a worry arose so we sought out Teacher Jing Ke on a referral. After our first consultation & assessment session with her, she quickly pinpointed my child’s tongue thrusting and hanging jaws as most impeding her speech. It dawned on us that our child would certainly not have been able to overcome those traits all by herself. Professional intervention is so critical in making timely diagnosis and to pinpoint the appropriate guidance for our child. Fortunately for us, we have Teacher Jing Ke. At every session, she is friendly yet firm with our daughter. She patiently guides our child, ensuring that the 3y/o can understand what every activity entails and helps her achieve the most out of every session. Teacher Jing Ke also give us simple but highly effective exercises to continue at home. Along the way, Teacher Jing Ke with her abundant experience and professional knowledge, identifies new areas for improvement, constantly adjusting the activities and exercises, leading the way to draw the best out of our child. Having seen Teacher Jing Ke for 4 months now, there has been a very noticeable improvement in my daughter’s speech. We look forward to working with Teacher Jing Ke to better generalize my daughter’s speech progress and to begin work on achieving her age-appropriate competence in the English language.

I’m grateful to have Jing Ke as my child’s speech therapist. She can engage my child during the therapy sessions although my child has very low attention span. She will teach the caregiver various techniques to make my child produce the different type of sounds, so that the caregiver can practise at home with the child.
I appreciate the efforts that Jing Ke will always find ways to fine-tune her techniques to help the child. After one year with Jing Ke, I can see that my child can articulate her ‘s’ sounds better and also more confident in having conversations with others. I will highly recommend Jing Ke as the speech therapist to go to.

Jing Ke has worked with my son, Yoichiro Shafiq Sato, who was having some difficulty in his speech motorization in Singapore, for a period of eight months while our family was in Singapore. Jing Ke has visited our private apartment to have a regular 1.5 hour consultation with Yoichiro to train his speech skills with a wide range of tasks, involving picture-naming, speech practices, tool manipulations, ball games and dancing, among many others. We do not know how to express our thanks to Jing Ke for her invaluable help in assisting Yoichiro achieve his normal fluency level in English and, among others, imbuing him with confidence in speaking. We began to see extremely positive effects of Jing Ke’s training on Yoichiro after we relocated to Tokyo, when he started attending an Islamic International School. He is now extremely confident in his speech in English as well as in Japanese, which puts him in the leading/Imam position in his upper Kindergarten level. We are so proud of his improvement he has exhibited since our relocation, and this is in big part thanks to Jing Ke’s selfless efforts to work with Yoichiro as his speech-therapist.
Jing Ke has our highest possible recommendation.
